Starlink have tried to prevent 3rd party sales by insisting the buyer uses it for ?60days before selling it on. Plus it’s bulky and heavy so getting it in a plane would be tricky. what you can’t do is pay in the UK and have it work abroad unless you’re on an intercontinental roaming plan which is very expensive.
If it were me and I was in middle of nowhere (weren't some people quoted like £30k to bring broadband to their small village?) I would try and tap into this and share it with my neighbours. You can run a Cat cable 100m with no loss
You can potentially run a CAT5e cable up to 100m without noticeable loss, but there are plenty of other options for getting connectivity between buildings depending on location.
You can use fibre transceivers, SDSL (to use a single copper pair of wires) and similar , MoCa, PtP wireless, PoE-powered Ethernet switches to act as repeaters etc. You can also use this to bond with additional connections (5G, VDSL) for failover etc.
It is a good deal as they have previously sold for a lot more.
Don't hate a product because it doesn't fit your bill.
It’s so bad that the local Government have banned Starlink as people were beginning to realise there are other options.
I’d have this if I could ☹️
He's out suing Open AI lol

Saying that I'd pay the money Vs getting 3mbps adsl
I'm not a huge fan of the artificial stars littering the night sky, but the tech and the whole concept, having unlimited data sat connection at decent speed for a few quid, was a far away dream just a few years ago, and available only for commercial/military/special purpose use a few years before that. (edited)
its just too expensive in the UK. i don't get how if i live in Africa i pay half the price.
as someone has said, if you can split this between a few neighbours, it'll be great.
Smarty works well in my area so i'm thankful for 3 and their 5G masts. not everyone is fortunate enough.
