I wrote to timberland and they admitted they’d reduced the quality to keep the price down.
Wish I’d kept that letter. They’ve never been anywhere near as good as those first ones to come over here (edited)

I have bought about 6 pairs over the last 5 years for myself and family. We've not had a problem so far. I got my first pair about 14 years ago and still wear them for hikes.

I've just checked. It was free for me as seen in pic in my description. I've added another to my basket and it's showing as 3.99 now. Weird. I've edited to add 3.99. Click and collect is free
