I absolutely love this board game as a horror fan! Great if you want something solo and quite easy to learn, it's perfect for newcomers to board games.

Just note that you need to buy boxed expansions along with it as the core set can't be played by itself.

haven't found many solo games I like but Final Girl is one of them.

Get Core and Camp Happy (which you can probably pick up 2nd hand cheap because everyone starts with it) then just get whatever scenarios you like, I have the Freddie one, the Thing one and the Alien one.

Camp happy is such a good starting point because every other scenario builds on those base rules.

Once you've beaten camp happy once it's very hard to lose that one (although I've not tried it on extreme mode) but it's still good to keep as you can mix and match all of the baddies with all of the scenarios.

So you can end up with The Thing on the Alien ship or a Xenomorph stalking the arctic base from the thing.

Oh the upgrade stickers are good on etsy as well if you don't want to splash out on the plastic mini's (edited)

I’ve been so tempted by this many times. I’ve never played a solo game before, so I’m just nor sure if I’ll enjoy the experience, but I love the idea of it.
