Fender don’t make Les Pauls, but if they did…. Great deal, and the finish and PU config is a bit different to the usual.

After posting some Les Pauls earlier, I saw the start of your comment and then panicked that I'd written "Squier Limited Edition Affinity Les Paul" Glad I didn't

Stop it I cannot say no to this one.

Looks more like a Stratocaster with the 4 knobs. Telecaster typically has 2 knobs & a switch. (probably more accurate technical descriptions of these).

The 2 humbucker telecaster and a mixture of single coil and humbucker with the Les Paul style knobs have been around since the 70's ....think Leo was trying to get a bit of the Les Paul market at the time

The American made fender version of this one will be a around a grand more .

Personally I wish fender would start knocking out some decent colours with their mexican made ranges .. the more budget squiers have for a while had a better choice I reckon (edited)

they did do a fender player version for a limited run....which they always seem to do for some of the better finishes

Every Affinity model I've played has been absolute garbage. Have they improved the manufacture of these, because if not, i'd be looking at the second-hand market at this price-point.

I love my Affinity telecaster After having it three years and having so much fun with it, just this week I put some custom shop texas specials in and it sounds ace. Next week i'm going to put locking tuners on, then maybe mod the switch plate, or add vintage brass bridge. Cheap as chips mods and I don't feel sad for modifying and playing the heck out of it
