About this deal

These turn up in Lidl every now and then, seems to go for about £10 or so on eBay. Decent little Delorean model for any BTTF fan. I'd say likely national, given how Lidl work for the middle of Lidl stuff, but this was Clayton Green, Chorley.

They make them rare!

I work in Morrisons & the Clipstrip stock (the ones that hang on a strip around the store) come in boxes of 72 & there was just one in it.
We also them in display boxes (they have shorter backs like this one, compared to the Clipstrips) & find good stuff even harder to find in them.
I have managed to get this flying as well as a non BTTF delorean as well as star wars landspeeder & beatles yellow submarine recently.

FYI the more regular range are batman cars. I've seen the batmobile from most movies, cartoon, 60s tv & a squashed micro one.

This is a re release (last seen in 2019, though this version has clear windows, not blue tinted as the 2019 version had) It is part of the Hot Wheels 2024 C case selection, that should be making its way through most retailers that stock Hot Wheels.

My local Smyths, The Entertainer and Asda have all had 2024 C cases recently, though, Smyths and The Entertainer get what they're given, so it fluctuates. Poundland and Home Bargains have been at 2024 A case for a little while around me too, I live in Leeds, if that helps.

So while a local Lidl might have a 2024 C case out, it is unlikely that they all do at once, however, many different stores that stock Hot Wheels, should, at some point in the near future also get 2024 C case into inventory.

Edited to add, that mainline 2024 C case cars will also roll over into 2024 D case, so there is 2 case selections this year for this particular model to appear. (edited)

I got this for my son the other week. He loves BTTF he thought it looked brilliant but was quite disappointed because it doesn't fit on a hot wheels track properly due to the flying wheels that stick out.

Local one didn't have it, they had the Delorean Alpha5 though, got that and the Godzilla Nissan GT-R with the red writing. Was actually reduced to £1.49 at my branch
