I have the Oduline onduvilla coloured tiles. Best investment I made regarding the shed roof. No more mucking about with felt, and they've lasted 6 years with minimal fading.

Are these easy to install onto a pent shed? Do I need some kind of wooden frame, on top of the roof? I was thinking of grabbing some of these. (edited)

Go on to the onduline website - you will see how and what support is needed to fit them.

spend the extra and use metal sheets. friend put these on shed roof. retrieving kids toys off the roof is interesting as u cant put weight on it and it doesnt like a rake or brush pulling stuff off
    his shed roof now leaks

The form is different to some of the plastic sheets, btw, but they are quite resilient and don't go brittle in the sun, which the cheaper plastic sheets do - as the neighbour's giant cat found out when he leapt off the border wall, down two metres and went straight thru the plastic and could not get back out for a couple of days, so support at half the sheet's width I would say.

Love the photos of people using them as fencing around their hot tub, for that real "Taliban spa" effect!

I hate this stuff, after a few years it becomes porous and soft. They do offer a 15 yr guarantee but how you’d successfully claim I don’t know. In any case 15yrs is no time for a building material. Use plastic coated metal sheets - just as easy to install and will last forever

Done a few roofing jobs with these over last 20+ years - sheds/garages etc. Yes, they do sag after a few years if not supported properly - manufacturer's website is pretty good in that respect. Best to use OSB sheets, cover those with roofing membrane and then Onduline sheets on top - lasts for a long time then.
Metal sheets are good too, but when it rains/hails it does make it sounds like you're inside a drum. Plus there's always condensation issues with metal roofs.
