Anyone got this? Thinking of it as a cheap starter air-fryer. Then if we actually use it enough, get a Ninja someday

I don't have this one but the capacity stated is very decent, 6.5L. Mine's a 6.2L (Asda George brand) and I'd say it's on the larger side.

My starter air fryer was the bestselling 4.3L Tower one which is touted as 'family size' however that really only applies to a portion of fries (for four people) for example. As soon as you start cooking one or two different foods at the same time (even just nuggets and fries/a protein plus a carb) the 4.3L really only suits 1-2 people. You need some separation around the foods to get an even and thorough cook (a basket of just fries or just nuggets you can just shake - I eat other foods I promise ).

This also has a 3 year warranty which seems decent.

I'd just measure the footprint and height on your worktop first as the 6L+ air fryers can be quite sizeable.

I've just noticed this one has dials which I think I'd prefer. Both of mine have been digital and the keypad sometimes isn't the most responsive.

The reviews seem unanimously good (the single one star review complains about click and collect) and the basket goes in the dishwasher. I'd give it a punt and return it if it's not to your liking! (edited)

I bought this air fryer for the same price, about 2 months ago.
It's a very good air fryer, cools well and quick, and the drawer and rack are easy to clean.
The drawer has a marble effect finish.
I recently cooked a 1.6kg chicken in it.Took an hour at 180C, and came out great.
£35 is a bargain price, especially with the 3 years warranty.

Great feedback, thank you. Do you always cook with the liner?
  3. ZeusUk's avatar
If the teflon from the liner is coming off after a few months, is that covered from the warranty?
Or will they say ''wear and tear''?

That liner is pretty good and has lasted for years on their other products...

Got this and think it's Brill for the money...

Gave away my tower 4.3 with knob controls and bought a duel with digital, can't stand it, doesn't cook as well, the digital controls are a faff and I don't like not having a basket , what I want is a 5 or 6 liter with knob controls and a basket inside

I picked up a unit yesterday and the lady said although it has 3 years, only 1 is with ASDA and the rest with the manufacturer. I guess false information from her side.
