What benefits does this offer over using a regular oven?

I have the G3 Ferrari rather than this one, but the benefit of these pizza ovens is the temperature they can reach. They go to about 400 degrees meaning they can cook a pizza in about 3-4 mins.

A regular oven can't get as hot, so has to cook it over a longer time.

The result of a dedicated pizza oven is that you can get restaurant style pizzas. In a regular oven the pizza base usually dries out and ends up tasting a bit overdone.

Costs about 30-35 pence to run per hour. Assuming you need to preheat and maintain that's about 7-10 pizzas in 1h.

Pre heat fir 2 mins, n a frozen pizza is done in 4 min. If you are making one fresh then 3 mins is ready to eat. Store bought ready to heat take 4 mins. Do defrost if theyve been frozen for long but if youve bought frozen from the store by dinner time its ready to go straight in to the pizza oven.

A pizza stone and a regular oven that goes up to 240c?

This goes up to 390c. There's no comparison.

Didnt Lidl had this around 80 quid just a week ago?

They were supposed to but none of my local ones had any in stock. Wondering if it’s worth getting one or if it’ll join the cupboard where unused items go to die!

I've got one like this, have made pizza regularly for years and I love mine. If you heat the stone up for 5-10 mins you can cook fresh pizzas in 5 minutes and it's absolutely brilliant.

I have a similar one and it was a good buy. The only reservation I have with this model is the glass top, metal reflects heat; not sure about glass.

I prepped some dough for a slow rise in the fridge last night for today's pizza party. It requires a little effort but the results are fantastic.

Are these decent for frozen pizzas? Seen views both ways, and am curious.

Why buy this when you can buy the G3 Ferrari on Amazon for £71.50 delivered?

The G3 deal was posted 17 March, this was posted a couple of days earlier. Agreed the G3 is a much more tasty proposition (edited)
