I know it's only cheap but surprised it's only 50hz. Still great value. I just can't but it as I can't find anywhere telling me the distance between the stand legs! (edited)

Well.. it's 60fps.. quite standard for a TV unless you're spending premium money to get 120fps.

50hz PAL is also 60hz NTSC, same applies to 100hz being 120hz converted.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it’s already packed in, the sound has gone - trying to get Argos to take it back but they are insisting on sending it to Toshiba, all a bit of a pain in the you know where

    Sorry to hear that.

Other than the issue with sound, what do you think of the picture quality?

I bought a 43 inch hisense for £240 2 years ago, but I'd much rather have this one now, but no idea what I would do with the old one

    This or Samsung S90C?

Ethernet built in is quite attractive if anyone needs it. I prefer cables these days for a rock solid connection. If it can stay off the Wi-Fi then it will in my house.

With this being a fire TV (basically android OS) can you install “downloader” on it and sideload other apps? The same as a firestick?
    craggle1uk's avatar
    I was wondering the same

I have an android TV that's becom quite laggy . Is the fire interface smooth ?
    chancooluk's avatar
Smoother than the Android ones yes. It's about as smooth as an original 4K fire stick. So occasionally laggy, but not bad.
