You can easily remove most of Xiaomi's ad-filled bloatware if you wish. There are a bunch of tools which will let you disable or remove said apps as you please, without needing to root the phone or anything.

Presumably will get updates for another 2 years at the most being a 2022 mobile?

MIUI versions: Two.
Security updates: Three years, patches every 90 days.

HyperOS rather than MIUI now though.

Came out October 2022, so another year and 7 months.

Samsung A54 you get up to Android 17 and security updates until 2028.

What you could do is get this phone, use it for a year, this time next year get the Note 13 Pro for the same price. (edited)

OK for the short term but 2022 phone with Mediatek processor, not a long term prospect.

Note 13 Pro has Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 therefore chance of Lineage ROMs in future.

Does this have the Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Proximity Sensor? I really didn't like the proximity sensor on the Redmi Note 10 Pro and I have heard the newer Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Proximity Sensor is still unreliable/irritating.

@KingBennis its a really good camera. shoots 4k videohas a 1/1.56-inch sensor, and has OIS. MP isnt the only factor. look at reviews for the camera imx766. I believe it was a flagship camera for 2022 phones. (edited)
