5 year warranty by redemption.

No where near as good as the slightly better LG G2 OLED at £763 from LG Direct but still a decent price for the 55” C3.

Marks Electrical has the 55” C3 & S60Q Soundbar for £1049 which could possibly come down also.

Hmm just bought a B3 for £883 directly from LG (with a free account signup welcome coupon that took it down from £930), is there a discernible upgrade between the B3 and the C3, or is it negligible and I can just stick with the B3?

    Biggest difference between C3 & B3:

The C3 noticeably brighter than B3, so the C3 is the better choice in brighter rooms.

    And the C3 has 4x HDMI 2.1 ports whilst the B3 has 2x HDMI 2.1 & 2x HDMI 2.0 ports.

So if you don’t need 4x 4K/120Hz ports like on the C3 and you have a dark room, then the B3 is still a good choice.

As of my last update in 2023, the LG C3 OLED TV is a new model that follows the LG C2 series, consistently recognized for its superb performance in terms of picture quality, gaming features, and overall value. The LG G2 series, on the other hand, is part of LG's "Gallery" lineup, which is positioned above the C series and focuses on premium build quality, design, and slightly enhanced picture quality, mainly due to LG's OLED evo technology which was introduced with the G1 series and continued with the G2. This technology provides a brighter image compared to traditional OLED displays.

To determine whether the LG C3 OLED TV is better than the LG G2 OLED TV, we need to consider several factors:

    1. **Picture Quality**: Both series are expected to offer exceptional picture quality with deep blacks, vivid colors, and wide viewing angles that OLED panels are known for. The G2, with its OLED evo panel, might have a slight edge in brightness and possibly in the refinement of image processing. However, the C3 may incorporate new advancements that narrow or even close this gap, depending on the evolution of LG's OLED technology.

    2. **Design**: The G2 series is designed to be wall-mounted, essentially fitting into your space like a piece of art ("Gallery" design). It's incredibly slim and lacks a traditional stand, aiming for a seamless look when mounted. The C3, while still sleek, is more of a traditional TV design that comes with a stand, designed to fit on a media unit. If you prefer wall-mounting for a flush look, the G2 has a clear advantage.

    3. **Features**: Both series are likely to be packed with features, including HDMI 2.1 ports, low input lag, and high refresh rates, making them excellent for gaming. AI-enhanced sound and smart features using LG's webOS platform should be present as well. The newer C3 might have slight improvements or additional features, thanks to software updates or new hardware components.

    4. **Price**: Generally, the C series has been more affordable than the G series, offering a better value proposition to many consumers. The G2 is positioned as a premium offering, and its price reflects this. If the C3 continues the trend of offering high-quality performance at a more accessible price point, it might be considered a better value for most users.

Without specific details on the improvements or changes made in the C3 series over its predecessors or how it directly compares to the G2, it's hard to say definitively which is "better". Your choice might come down to whether you value the potential picture quality improvements and premium design of the G2 over the possibly better value for performance offered by the C3. Consider what aspects of a TV are most important to you: image quality, design, features, or price.

That's stunning. If this was around 2 weeks ago, I would have got this over the C2. (edited)
