Customs duty may be charged on top of the headline price, usually on items costing more than £135 Information
Good price for the global version sold b Nubia Aliexpress, factor in possible customs / tax, I own this, and have zero issues with it, bar the selfie camera, but as someone who only uses the selfie cam once in a blue moon, for mainly face unlock, this is no big issue, if you want a phone to take selfies for insta, this phone is definitely not for you, the code is a code we worked on with Aliexpress

A fairly average phone for this money which misses out key things such as wireless charging, plus the risk of being hit by expensive customs fees, it's a pass from me.

This comment was a joke BTW 👀 (edited)

I would go for the Oneplus 12 only because Nubia is heavy AF !

I wanted this so bad last time and waited thinking too much then it went OOS lol.. and then bought a honor magic v2 foldable lol....

The Honor Magic V2 does look so impressive. I've had a few Galaxy Z Folds in the past but Honor seems to have used actual magic in it's construction.

If it does hit with custom roughly how much would it be
    vassy4u's avatar
    20% of sales price

How bad is the selfie camera?
    vassy4u's avatar
if it's lighted then it's decent..

Great deal for the base version, although I'm tempted by the double ram and storage deals. On the look out before I jump 🦘

I got the 12Gb version for £470 last month

Dude we already got 12 in the morning.

Bargain. Love this phone. Yes it’s heavy but I can get 1.5->4 days of battery life.
    fablanta's avatar
I've never even heard of Nubia before this.

If you get hit with customs fees (20% + 2.5% DHL's handling fee) then you're looking at a total of roughly £530.

Not worth the risk, even you managed to get it for the original price it's not a particularly good phone.

I disagree, I own the phone, and it's bloody awesome. There isn't much to dislike. Of course, customs always a factor, but it's less likely these days from what I've seen (edited)

Another excellent deal for a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 phone, with the global ROM version of the great Nubia Z60 Ultra, as long as you're happy with buying from AliExpress 🔥

Now the £400 question is, this or OnePlus 12, though one to be honest.
    vassy4u's avatar
If price is not an issue. This is the phone to go. I have used both and my choice would be Nubia. Customization and animation is better on Oxygen OS.

    Obscene price tbh

This is a great phone and a great deal. Well done hukd

worth moving from a Pixel 6 Pro... Don't use much of the funky camera tricks offered by the 6 Pro and I hate the battery life.

Any issues with NFC/Google pay etc?
    Cremoso99's avatar
My question would be, does Android Auto work? It doesn't normally with Chinese phones but this one is the global version.
  16. Y2PANiC's avatar
How is the camera compared to OnePlus 12?

I purchased the Z60 Ultra Starry Night, great phone but please be mindful that there are two potential issues that may develop over time.

    Signal Loss
I am experiencing signal loss with both O2 and Vodafone networks. The signal randomly drops and then intermittently returns. Despite replacing both SIM cards, the issue of signal loss still persists.

    Haptic Feedback
Randomly stopped working, then sporadically resumes function; however, the haptic feedback produces terrible sound quality before malfunctioning again.

I've reached out to Nubia for warranty so far no response.

the starry night edition is a Chinese exclusive and not global. don't quote me but i would assume it'll be missing a bunch of bands

Damn, I got the z50s pro 12/1tb for £400. Should I have waited out for this but this is 8/256 and the selfie lark (edited)
