Unless youre sending this to burner phones, I wouldnt go near it.

They want you to let them access your contacts data so they can take the contacts mobile number, send them unwanted spam (and really, why would anyone install an app linked to from an uninvited sms???) to get them to install their app to get the qr code to get a free egg?

    Thanks for the warning

Thanks for comments, so not worth pursuing then?

I'd say not. The app is awful and it takes a lot of time and effort for £1.50...

The fact you can't send the voucher to the same people you sent the m&s ones to really just shows the fact that prsnt is only offering this offer too O2 as way to hopefully get new sign ups

O2 first denies me cashback for 6 months on Quidco and now supporting such dodgy practices??

Anyone know a method of doing this where I can send the eggs to myself

You'd need access to 4 extra phones and 4 extra SIMs. I've just done it. Depressingly large amount of effort just for £7.50 to spend in Sainsburys

Weirdly, o2 claim the gifts are valid for 14 days but the rewards claim 364 days (edited)

These are £1.50 giftcards that can be used on anything. You send to 4 of your friends and then they send you 1. I sent to my husband and kids phones. (edited)

Where do you add the promo code in the app?

How do you get the code? It's not in the text I generated?

I claimed this offer today on O2 Priority, so still running? It is the most annoying offer. You can only send to people who have not installed the app previously, so not really a gift but an incentive for registering for the app.

Given majority of people agreed that this was more of a spam, it's better off being expired
