These are really good. I’ve got two for the kids but I quite like using it myself. They’re nothing like the cheaper Amazon tablets, the software runs very fluidly on these.

Yes - firetoolbox for windows does this or you can follow liliputing guide for fire max 11.

I bought one for £87 off ebay a month or so ago. The tablet surprised me its heavy I added a magnetic case which makes it even heavier. The screen looks good and its quite fast compared to any generation before its leaps and bounds ahead of any of them but adding Google Play it seemed to be ok for a couple of weeks then suddenly Plex won't login I think they changed the way you login. Some other apps don't work suddenly. It is great as a web browser and apps off the amazon store if you can actually get one you might want but otherwise I am looking to replace it already as I want reliable Google Play and this is definitely not it.

This happened to me as well but there's a solution.

Uninstall Google Play Services from Settings>Apps.

Then download Google Play Services from here: apkmirror.com/apk…"}/ And install it.

Do NOT buy one of these for this money. Amazon APP store looks like it was developed in 1996. I paid £95'ish and I'm happy with it as a media device. BUT, you have to sideload PlayStore.

Are these not regularly on eBay for £85-£95? Even as low as £75. Or am I missing something. (edited)

Yeah got mine off eBay around £95 sealed.

For £90-100 it's good value but at £159 I would rather get a Chinese one with 6/8gb ram and latest chipsets instead.

Paid £90 for mine off ebay.

Also if you go on live chat on Amazon and complain that the adds aren't suitable for your child (for example), they will remove them FOC.

    Same here

We have this and the Honor X9. The Honor tablet is much better with none of the restrictions this has. For this money I would not buy this.

Not sure but I got a £99 one from eBay a couple of weeks ago.
The box was a bit tatty but everything was there and looked new/unused.
    Tablet works fine.
    Very happy with it.

just pay the difference for an ipad
the apps alone make it worthwhile

I hate Apple but i dont regret buying my ipad pro

I hate how Amazon blocks the marvel and dc subscription apps as this is what I mainly use tablet for
I have to try and side load them and that’s a pain and I couldn’t actually get them to work on my dads kindle

mine was 87 off ebay. Am impressed, is fast and screen is very good. very premium feel to case and very slim. prefer this to my mums three year old ipad.

have sideloaded a few apps no problem. dont care about google play

Just wondering where all of these cheap tablets are coming from? Legit sources?

Lots of sellers selling them for way below what Amazon are, curious about where they're getting their stock from?

Can you avail of the trade-in option on Amazon for these? I have an old tablet I would mind trading in to get 20% off, however the option isn't showing for me
