    I have a thermomix which I love, and I have Xiaomi phones, tablets, watch, headphones and robovac. So I'm a big Xiaomi fan. From what I've seen the thermomix is miles ahead on recipes. I think this has so few recipes it really isn't with it yet. Once the get the recipes I'd be tempted (edited)

    I think if you’ve got an induction hob, a set of electric scales, 2 pots, a clock and a recipe book, it amounts to the same thing.

    Very interesting, but I can't find anywhere a list of the available recipes and it looks like that the original 200+ recipes list was never updated.

    Can anyone confirm how many are available and let me know where I can find it?

    how is the thermomix? do the recipes include dishes from all over the world? are the instructions reasonable? ie sometimes on xiaomi it ask you to put things in but then you have to pour it out, for example like seasoning meats. which is more complicated than if it just told me to marinate my beef with da da da and have me do that in a seperate bowl from the get go.

    I thought about getting a Thermomix for about 15 years. I’ve had mine for 18 months and I literally couldn’t be without it.

    If you need to marinate something it tells you to place a bowl on top of the Thermomix bowl, you weigh in the indicated ingredients then take that bowl off and place to one side while you carry on with the rest of the recipe in the Thermomix bowl.

    It’s a godsend for me, as I lose more of the functionality in my right arm, it does the chopping and stirring for me which is fantastic. Also pretty much everything that comes out of it is great, as long as you pick recipes that suit your taste.

    You can also import recipes from websites and create your own. The latest software update has added functionality where you can share recipes with other people and import them more easily. You can set it to show you recipes from all over the world as long as they are in a language you understand. It has some annoyances in that regard but nothing that would put me off.
