I've ordered this, have been looking for a replacement for the Samsung that was stolen from my front door after delivery. Samsung refused to deal with my case or have anything to do with it. After a month of emails I was offered a £50 voucher that wouldn't work with any other offers they had on. Worst customer experience I've ever been on the end of. Looking forward to using this now, the reviews are great and it has reverse tumble

Its unfortunate but I can see why they wouldnt refund you. What happened did the couriers just leave it outside and someone stole it or did you leave it outside and not take it in and it got stolen ?

I’ve been eyeing this up recently. Nearly went for it too. Unfortunately, as confirmed with AEG over the phone and online chat, you only get their standard 2 year warranty when purchasing direct.

I ended up going with the other AEG - eBay deal which offers the 5 year warranty by redemption.

At this price point, 2 years doesn’t cut it. (edited)

Only £4 more from on eBay for the 9kg model, probably worth paying that if you get another 3 years warranty. Shame you don't get the extra warranty buying direct.

I’ve done a lot of research on heat pump dryers over the last few weeks and this ticks most of the boxes. Like the above poster says, it’s a Which Best Buy, has a 5-year warranty and isn’t a Samsung ( ).

I love my Samsung A+++ heat pump dryer 😁

Good deal, this comes with 5yr warranty! Worth putting into your title. Although AEG's website is strangely mute on the warranty (not even to say anything about warranty). But look at AO's page, and they say its 5yr manufacturer warranty.
Also this (like most AEG Heat Pump dryers) is a Which Best Buy. (edited)

Thanks, have updated title. Like you I couldn't see the warranty mentioned on there.

The price shown on ebay now is £549 for marks electrical. Is there any code that needs to be used?

There is a sticker on the machine with the serial and model number. You create an account and enter your details. It asks where you purchased the machine and all I selected was 'online retailer'

Product on my account is now showing with 5 year warranty (edited)

Good info. I'm tempted to get it now then as can get at £480. Or from an online seller for _493 with next day.

I purchased the AEG 9000 Series T9DEB969C Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, 9kg Load, A+++ Energy Rating, from John Lewis @£1150. So this is a deal at the price.

Just remember that AEG are owned by Electrolux so it shares some parts with other models. It's been a good machine, but I have had the water pump go on it. But was covered under the 5 year extended warranty.

After about 5 or 6 weeks I asked for anything. A refurbished model, some kind of discount. Keep in mind I have an EPP account with many purchases. A jet 90 vacuum. A qn94 TV.

£50. Only applicable to full priced items. Their attitude and service stuck throughout the whole affair and as a disgruntled customer, I'm going to share that experience out at every opportunity

God I love a good rant (edited)

Does this model have anything like "2 way tumbling" or "reverse tumble"? I've been looking heat pump tumble dryers and I noticed something like those above in some makes/models to stop clothes tangling.
    Joshb92's avatar
Yes it has reversed tumble. Code MELIZ20 brings it to £480. When you register it say you bought from online retailer and you get the 5 years.

Paid £529 for this just after Christmas which I thought was a good price, this is even better!

    It's been great so far

Did you buy this direct from AEG? What kind of warranty did you get with it?

Arrived and installed by team - who then proceeded to show me a scratch on the LCD. I got a cloth and some cleaning fluid, but you could feel the scratch with your fingernail, and it would not come out. LCD still totally visible and functional but this was disappointing, so I contacted AEG and they offered to replace it free of charge or give me a 10% rebate - which I accepted. (edited)
