Brewed under license in the Uk. As with a majority of Uk lagers today not a patch to compare with European breweries.

Why do people keep banging on about being brewed in the uk? We all know where it's brewed and we make a choice to buy it or not to buy it. Have you tried getting hold of the brewed in Europe beer?

A fantastic beer, ruined by a uk brewery.

L'autentica == The Authentic since it's made in the UK and tastes nothing like the Italian stuff.

Basically - most folk that don't like it now its brewed in the UK, with the strength and taste different to the original, are stating this so others don't buy it thinking its the original.
The UK beer market is terrible now, all the same tasting swill packaged into identical packaging as the original beers - no wonder people are fed up with the sneaky marketing and blase attitude from the mass brewers.
    Vote with your feet people.

If the public keep buying it, they will keep doing it.

It's a sad situation, I've been enjoying Dutch brewed Heineken lately, a very light refreshing drink compared to the UK brewed stuff.

Birra Moretti was lovely when it was imported here, I remember having it in a Italian restaurant 15 years ago when it was "new" as an alternative to Nastro Azzuro Peroni.

On no the authentic Italian lager owned by a Dutch firm is brewed in the UK.... Where the majority of UK drinkers have only ever drunk it. Better point out it tastes different to the Italian version.

I feel like you are the people who complain to the council when someone's car sticks out an inch over the driveway.

It's a decent lager and this is a decent price.

What's wrong with pointing it out?

If you know it's UK brewed and you're fine with the taste then that's ok.

Others are just pointing it out for those that don't know, which included myself a few years ago.

Come BBQ season, you won't care where it's been brewed.

The 330ml cans are mostly Dutch brewed. I steer away from the 440ml because they've most likely been brewed in Moss Side.
