I just bought a legion slim 5 with a 4070. This one says it's OLED but the reviews say it isn't?

There are different variants. This is not OLED. It's a great IPS panel 500 nits 100% DCI-P3.

The price has dropped to a sensational £1,052.57

    EDIT: Increased by £2.10 (edited)

I wonder if the memory config is 1x16GB or 2x8GB.

According to a commenter here who has the same model, it’s single channel.

For anyone who purchased at the original posted price, it’s worth messaging Amazon CS to query for a refund of the difference. I had to request to speak with a manager but they agreed a refund for the difference

All gamers need to do is apparently install Game Ready drivers instead of Studio ones (preinstalled) and it’s a very capable gaming laptop too.

    Is this good for gaming?
    highdon's avatar
Get a proper gaming laptop, this was designed for productivity and will likely cook and throttle on more demanding games. Vivobooks are notorious for poor cooling systems.

Keyboard looks horrible visually imo but specs look solid. Heat added

    What's TB4?

Need one to run some VMs. You guys reckon this would do the job or not? I can see it has 16GB RAM, but it says SO-DIMM ,then max total up to 32. Confused a bit I am! :/
    Jaime_VanHunskerken's avatar
SO-DIMM is a laptop sized replaceable RAM stick, it means you can upgrade the RAM from 16GB to 32GB if you want.

Have this laptop - great one, tho as with all manufacturers - watch out for QA issues.
