    Tried this in my garage, looks alright but does not light up the room at all

    Thanks for sharing. Will be even worse in that case for those wanting to put this inside some sort of diffuser casing so as to avoid looking directly at the leds and see an even light source instead.

    Agreed I made mistake buying these, the spacing is so bad you won't get much lumens output, but on plus side it was long enough to come back on its self to fill in gaps

    I have had a couple of 5m app controlled strips from govee, they have all had several sections along their length fail in at least one colour, rather annoying

    Hope not this afternoon fitted the £50 tv ones, no where near as good as Ambilight but does the job...

    The RGB versions aren't great, have one and the various modes etc fall way short of the RGBIC ones i have.

    I had these and the lights stop working/randomly appear another colour and even stay in when you switch them off. Randomly working fine in some colours and producing a random rainbow in other selections.

    Copying my reply to an above comment … I had that too, very annoying! If it’s within the 12 months of purchase you can message them with a pic in the app and they will refund. Mine was outside 12 months so they gave me 10% off my next Amazon Govee purchase.

    You are better off with some of the aliexpress options that have upto 720 leds per metre for similar cost
