great pricing, tempted to upgrade my F3, then have to say no, as my F3 is still rocking it, i think i can hold out another year.
But this will be a great deal for others
    Joe_Mason's avatar
My F3 won't let me pay using Google wallet anymore. I know it's not supported security wise anymore. Is anyone else having the same? Also signal keeps dropping in and out randomly

You always post such comments! Do you work for Xiaomi or HotUKDeals?
  3. quake.ee's avatar
Obviously the quantity will be limited to 50 or 100 and most probably will be sold in 5 minutes:))
    T2G's avatar
So very little chance of getting our hands on one. Which is why the comment on the quantity available got deleted as the deal had started losing heat. As soon as that comment was deleted the deal gained further heat.

Great price if one is able to get one!

I had voted it hot before the comments on quantity got posted! (edited)

Xiaomi are scammers. I can't believe people still haven't learned this

Over 1k degrees of heat for a deal that never actually existed... (edited)

Which is better F5 pro or Noted 13 Pro+ ?
    Peter221's avatar
F5 pro has better a CPU while the Note 13 pro+ has a better camera
  7. Craig_Spreadbury's avatar
One of the comments suggest it's really unlikely to actually get this deal as there is only 100 available with this pricing. Is that true? I'm really stuck at the moment on what to buy, I don't want to spend more than £250. I have the Note 12 4G, and it's so so slow to do anything. Camera isn't crazy important to me, but would be nice to be useable. The X6 Pro is on sale right now, but ends tonight, so I won't be able to use the £80 voucher come Monday. Any suggestions?

If you're strapped for cash buy a used phone on ebay. I bought an Oppo Find X5 256GB recently for £160 and it's great, just as good as any other modern flagship in real world use.
  8. dale.milner's avatar
Which phone in the budget of £120-220 has the best camera?
    Caz42's avatar
Redmi note 12 pro was £187 few days back, have you not considered that ?
  9. Firefly1369's avatar
Have this phone (Poco F5 pro) and I have to say that is a total bargain. Obviously clearing out before F6 comes out. But yeah such a great phone. Hot deal
    theADDict's avatar
    I have one too

Everything great, but having come from a pixel..... I just think the cameras are WEAK

tempted to go the faster charging 13 pro + if the cameras are better.

I'd buy if I didn't buy already. Sold it for £378 having had it for a good few months. Battery was terrible and it was my secondary phone. Bought the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ which is arguably the better phone.

Did Poco fix the proximity sensor problem on the F3 that bugged Whatsapp voice notes?
    -LG's avatar
The base F5 now has a physical proximity sensor unlike the F3, but still around a year after release it doesn't work correctly. I am not sure if the F5 pro has one.
This is a good price but I'd 100% take a look at the Nothing Phone 2 or 2A instead. They're what I would go with these days. (edited)

The black F5 pro 512 gb is out of stock and after chatting with an agent they don't know when it will be available.
    bigwheels's avatar
The phones are always out of stock until the deal goes live.
    Re colour Im not sure.
My F2 Pro was out of stock at 23.58 pm the night before.
3 minutes later I ordered my phone as lots of stock appeared.
  17. snappokerman888's avatar
which has the strongest camera? the Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro 5G or the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G ?
    Caz42's avatar
You don't buy any Poco for the camera, it's never good, so note 13 will be better.
  18. ZakirHussain's avatar
X6 or F5 Pro? I ordered x6 yesterday for £204. Now, seeing the fan festival click-in deals, the potential price for f5pro is £249. Shall I refund my f6, which is still to be dispatched? And wait six more days and spend an extra £45 for f5pro?
    1. Will it be available and worth it?
    2. Will the price go up?
    3. Will I be able to use my mi points in future if I don't use them now? (edited)
    losername's avatar
I'm also torn between F5 pro and X6 pro... Tough call for me - sorry I can't help with your questions, but maybe one of these HotUKers could?
  19. scooper123's avatar
Sorry, I might be reading things wrong but how do I get the mi pad for that price showing as £349 for me. This website always confuses me with the offers.
    Paul_S77's avatar
It's £319 (128GB) on the site reduced price, then auto £50 discount at checkout as spending over £300 currently takes it down to £269.

"Xiaomi Pad 6 256GB for £269 with £50 auto discount and £80 mi points coupon."

Classic move by Xiaomi, putting the requirements up on mi points on the day of the sale. Can't redeem points unless you have 1000 points. Gone from £249 to £299.

Guess who's not going to buy into another deal from Xiaomi?
    eggwich's avatar
Typical Xiaomi trap, not gonna to buy their stuff now,

  26. king84's avatar
Nowhere on the advertised banner did it mention 1000 points tho. Clearly says 600 = £80. So even if you do have 1000 points how do you get the £80 for 600? They cant change an advertised offer. Pointless clicking for 6 days straight else. And customer service confirmed it above.
  27. Imadh_A's avatar
    Why don't these have E-sim?

I can only go by what Xiaomi UK themselves advertise and confirm - give it a bit of time and the coupon exchange may update tomorrow or later on.

It is still showing as advertised on their promo page so can only assume it is still happening and a coupon will be made available. Remember, their CS confirmed the coupon offer too.

Well, there is no coupon at the moment. So I don't think it will be available later.

    Hi
Can someone clarify this for me please..... 300 points for checking in to the site 6 days, but you need 600 points before you can redeem an £80 voucher?
In effect you need 300 points in the first place to get £80 off....
    Am I missing something?

Xiaomi provide an extra 300 points once you claim 300 by checking in. It is a typical promotion they run once per year. (edited)

I know the camera is not great on F5 Pro and Note 13 Pro+, but out of the two which one produces better quality photos/videos?
    snappokerman888's avatar
The Redmi Note 13 Pro + would be the best for photo and video.

The Sony IMX766 camera on the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G was regarded as a very good camera by a lot of people. I would imagine the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ does have a good camera. Redmi Note Pro series known for having a lot better camera than Poco range. Poco i think is strong in all areas except camera. (edited)
  38. Wildcard's avatar
I was interested in the redmi note 13 pro 5G when I saw it on here before xmas. Now a few months have passed, finally the UK Global release prices are more respectable. I am still rocking the OG F1 poco which is well known to most on HUKD over the years. Now its finally feeling slightly slower andthe battery life has reduced where under heavier usage when i used to get through a full day is running low by early evening.
When looking at the specs for the redmi note 13pro it does look inferior on sone categories even all these years on. Of course it does have the newer AMOLED and what looks a better camera. I have now seen the pro+ at this similar sale price (albeit limited availability) but it has a mediatek processor and a curved screen which i don't lole the sound of. Is there any other decent options in this £300ish category. As i understand the flagship xiaomi are still more like double this price which is not a level i want to go to. I generally want the better camera amd good performance. Not using it for gaming which i know is mentioned a lot also.
    Caz42's avatar
Yeah I was so disappointed they put curved on the 13+ model, I would be using it now if it was flat.
You not interested in the F5 or X6 pro ?
  39. Paul_S77's avatar
Great to get £80 off £300 spend. Normally have to spend £500 for the £50 off vouchers. Heat!

Only potential downside based on previous Xiaomi events is that they tend to have good reductions leading up to it, then as soon as you can use the voucher they rise the product prices to negate /significantly decrease the voucher saving.

Hoping that doesn't happen this time but has definitely happened before. One example was on Redmi Pad last year, you collected a £20 off voucher. The price had been stable for months. As soon as you could use the voucher the price went up by £20. Giving you no benefit to having bought the product the day before.

The current savings are definitely good though. (edited)
