I ordered a TicWatch smartwatch that came without the strap.
Tried to talk to them but Amazon Italy cs is horrific.
Never again, didn't do the return, too much pain.

Honestly wonder how any phone company except apple actually make money these days. The volume of models to choose from is insane and as a result they can't be benefiting from any kind of economy of scale

I’m assuming it’s just because they’re so ludicrously relatively cheap to make. Aliexpress has really taught me just how cheap industry is over in China. Once all the R&D (ie. stealing) is done with, then it’s just a case of repurposing existing machining to alter a few existing parts and then release as a new model

I'm after a phone for my little lad.
He will only use it for making stop motion videos and video edits using CapCut & watching stuff on YouTube, so I reckon the camera would be the main event but doesn't have to be ridiculously good.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

If he's really into it. An actual digital camera on a tripod like a mirror less or DSLR, or possibly a high quality web/sports camera. As opposed to a phone, where the camera comes after the soc, screen, ram and storage in the specs.

Although after a quick check, a premium phone like a Google pixel or iPhone is also highly rated according to digital camera world - digitalcameraworld.com/buy…ion
