The Royal Decameron Club Caribbean's pulled up to a couple of half-moon coves on Jamaica's north coast.

Everything here revolves around sea views. The pool faces up to the waterfront, and there's a bar perched on a jetty that pokes out from the shoreline. Chalet-style rooms pepper the edge of the bay, too.

TripAdvisor users log high scores for this place. It's even earned a Certificate of Excellence, thanks to the flow of five-star reviews.

PoolsThe hotel's biggest pool is set close to the waterfront, and comes with a bar that faces the Caribbean Sea.
Daytime drinks are also served at the jetty bar, which comes with swing-like chairs, lounger-lined decking and mattress-style daybeds. The quiet pool, meanwhile, is tucked away in the gardens. Read More

I stayed here about 20 years ago, it was cheap and cheerful, we enjoyed it. I saw a review from someone who has been very recently and it has gone down hill, wish I could find it as id copy the text here.

Not a bad price for 2 weeks AI in Jamaica, but don't expect too much.

Found it. They only stayed there a week and asked to move to another hotel. Here are some pics.

Go for the individual cottages and not the main building as they're usually similar price and add request for close to beach. You'll be just steps away from the beach if you get lucky.

It's only 3* so don't expect luxury but is a good location and not far from Ocho Rios for Dunn's Falls

One of the worst places to visit in the world as said by a poster about the crime rate

If your Caucasian or light skin you will be singled out as an easy target.

Goto another Caribbean island whete the people and the sites are much better

Didn't enjoy Jamaica at all. Tipping culture is totally out of control to the extent I had the guide from Dunns River Falls screaming in our faces because he wasn't happy with the size of the tip. We stayed in the Hilton. Would never go back.

A little bit of murder never hurt anyone, just walk it off and enjoy your holiday

went here this time last year. Basic but that suits us fine. Food was ok not great. Beach was fantastic. Never seen so many fish. Runaway Bay is on the rough side. Dont go walking out of the Hotel resort unless you re ok with people selling you weed. Not alot out there anyway. Fot the price id go again. You ll need new teeth though with all the cocktails and rum filled with sugar and coke that is syrup. We paid £1150pp last year so still good value

Eh ? It’s literally been voted almost the worst hotel in Jamaica

Went here last year. I thought that it was about to close! Very slow service in a la carte restaurants. They ran out of Jamaican beer AND Jamaican rum on several occasions. Runaway Bay, whilst beautiful, is a long way on the coach following a long flight.
