Nice hotel with a beachclub to make up for it not being directly on the beach and you can walk in 25 mins or take sneaky shortcut across golf course to get to beach. Good reviews for those on a budget. I will be spending lots more for the canaries and it wont be as warm.

This place has a choice of pools and a beachside restaurant. Plus you’re close to buzzing Playa del Carmen. Don't forget that as TUI customer, there is a private beach club just for you.

This hotel comes with four pools, the main one flanked by gardens. There’s four restaurants, including a Mexican à la carte and a steakhouse. Plus, live shows are on most nights.

The hotel is surrounded by tropical gardens, and there’s a free five-minute shuttle bus to the sandy beach. Plus, it’s just 15 minutes’ walk to the shops along 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen.

This hotel is part of the Riu Hotels & Resorts group - one of our handpicked TUI selected partners.

Stayed here for 4 weeks pre-covid - ok if you can get a deal but quite basic. We used the other RIU hotels during the day & ate out every other night. We love Playa del Carmen & the down town area.

Stayed in the sister hotel a few times the Rui Yucatan which is a lot nicer on a beach location. The area is nice and it’s a short walk to playa fro carmen . Playa car is a gated area which is guarded . I once visited this hotel and I would Stay there
