Good work - as a side note, Redmi 12 128GB should also be available for £79 on the 3rd April by using the £10 new user app code 24APP10.

There should also be 10% off smartphones/tablets on the 2nd April only - using promo code 24XFF. (Probably excluding the 13T Pro I imagine).

Would need 8gb of ram in this day. I've got a 4gb redmi 10 that struggles to keep apps open when switching and it creates a dwindling experience.

6gb is fine. 4gb is scraping it but if you're just using it for calls, messaging and photos it should be fine foe ghe majority of people.

I got this phone and it's going back. It can't cope with many apps, it laggs and is so unresponsive. I used it for one day. Photos are a bit on the poor side too, it will be fine for many people. If you just want a basic phone it fine.
But for me personally I'll have to spend a lot more for what I want.
I took a gamble and lost....

Like anything more money you spend the more you get......I think the honor 70 lite is a better bet than this with it's virtual ram

What am I missing? The price is currently £129; the code that is active tomorrow says it will give you £20 off; won't the price be £109 and not £84?

Always been tempted to bu a Xiaomi phone, but keep seeing reviews that the cameras on them aren't great.
Am looking a phone around £100, decent(ish) camera,6.5" max screen, 4gb/64 or 128gb.
Any advice welcome.

A phone with a decent/ish camera does not exist for £100 from any manufacturer.
A Xiaomi Note 12 Pro 5G is the cheapest with a decent camera - wait for it to return to £160 if you're not in a hurry hotukdeals.com/dea…565

11 days ago I got the Redmi Note 12 5g for this price.

The phones are pretty different using different processors etc.
I strongly recommend someone who buys this MUST switch the phone on and do all the updates to the latest. Then factory res.et.
It's not quick initially. It took a while for the system to stabilise and then become useable.
The camera is shocking and grainy. The 5g is 48mp and this 4g version is 50.
Personally with 3g being shut down, my phone has to be 4g and 5g.
I have uninstalled all the apps that pay to be on there and also stopped the ads and I wish I could disable some more system apps

HyperOS was supposed to be better than MIUI but I genuinely think it's worse. The foot print is a lot smaller but damn the UI is boring.

To disable and delete system apps, you need to ROOT your Redmi Note 12 5G.
