If you go to "New and used" there is a new £129 from
Amaxi LTD ... does anyone know how legit is that?

I saw that too. Looks dodgy. No details on companies house - and the contacts are from Nigeria. You do the maths...

My son recently got quest 3
.amazing bit of kit..but sadly I get motion sickness very quick 😪..

Stick with it. I got motion sickness at first but got used to it after using it regularly.
Also, there are a lot of settings to tweak - make sure you have the highest refresh rate possible in the settings, use teleport-to-move instead of trying to use the thumb sticks, use the settings to rotate in big steps rather than just spinning around etc.

Got mine recently from Very, Battery life is crap, Rift S is better (edited)

Considering the Rift doesn't even have a battery this is a pointless comparison.

Personally I think 2 hours on a standalone VR gaming device is pretty good (However, I always have a powerbank plugged into mine, so I easily get 6 hours from it)

Same price pretty much at all official retailers.

But with other retailers there will be vouchers &/or cashback available.

    I think it’s 20 or 25 pounds.

Still a fantastic bit of kit. We forget about it every now and again and then when we use it again we rediscover how much fun it is.

Sure this was posted for about £25 less last week.

Anyone think there will be a decent deal on the Meta Quest 3 anytime soon?

Is that the Rift S that has to be run from / tethered to a PC ???

If it is you aint comparing like for like given that the Quest can be used completely stand alone.

The Quest Battery life can easily be extended by attaching an external battery pack which still allows you to be "untethered".

You could of course tether the quest to a mains power source (bit like the Rift S) which would give you unlimited power.

If the Rift S works as a stand alone and has a better battery life than the Quest then I stand corrected.

If I'm right in saying, this comes with asguards wrath 2, so is better than the other offers.

I saw quite a few in my local Cash Converters a few days ago and the manager said they're getting a lot of them in.

The 128gb model was £159 and the 256 was £169.

Personally I'd never consider a second hand one of these... given how you wear them on your face and you get sweaty when wearing them in warm weather, it's not very hygienic.

...and that's without getting into what the most popular VR web sites are.

Definitely worth the £40 extra for a brand new one from the OP deal link that's clean, full battery health, unscratched lenses and full warranty.

I’m playing red matter 2 atm and the game is mind blowing! I have maybe 15 games altogether some not played yet as I bought them at bargain prices on BF. I cannot recommend this headset enough! I have the quest 3!
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
So what headset are you recommending?
