I have this after coming from Dyson animal V12 that broke...it's alright...not nearly as powerful, much noisier (on high almost has a high pitched whistle to it) and the empty system is useless...everything sticks to the internal filter and you have to scrape it out with something each time...I'd rather spend the extra cash for a Dyson again tbh if had the choice .

we had one, there terrible at killing the batteries, both died a few weeks apart with no fix for them off Vax, good while it worked but the Bosche one we replaced it with it just better all round

Avoid these. I had the battery issue (common fault on this) throughout the warrenty period where they sent me multiple replacements. Once the warrenty was over, they tried to get me to buy a battery at £70. Ended up going back to Dyson

I've always found vax's approach to faults bizzare when in warranty. We had a corded machine years ago and then the foot pedal that kept the machine upright would constantly end up breaking. Vax's solution was to just send a brand new machine out and told us to get rid of the broken one. They did that 5 times in total before sending out a completely different model, didn't understand how they could make money if they keep sending out brand new replacement machines and getting customers to dispose of the broken ones instead of attempting to repair them.
