I bought one of these for the holiday I couldn’t afford after I bought one of these.

The trouble with expensive suitcases is that if any cases are likely to go walkabout, it's these!

Better to put your expensive items in a plain average case imo, makes you and your cases less likely targets

Totally agree, just your average black case will do.

Unless it's a zipperless secure close all suitcase can be accessed by a pen inserted either side of the zipper and run along the zipper for it to open. Then that same zipper can be run back the way it closes and you wouldn't know the suitcase has been accessed. My cousin works in airport baggage security in Hong Kong. Buy a zipperless suitcase if yiu want or need to spend big money.

Surely that wouldn't work if your zippers were secured together with a lock?

All you voted cold moaning about the price..in actual fact the price of this is around £330 standard.
    Airports £500.
And it's lasted 7 years and still going strong.

    Take heat from me

    Hence I paid £275

I have this in a different colour that I bought in 2010. It’s really great and I needed another!

This particular model is made in Europe. (edited)

The largest is 2.8kg is which pretty reasonable for a hard case at that size.

Can't comment on the price but samsonites at the premium (light, durable) are well north of this price. I bought some cosmolite 85s over a decade ago, still going strong with only a zipper being replaced on one before. Can't say I've had that reliability at this convenience point before. Paid 175 each on a crazy sale then though which was eye watering as a price but zero regrets.
