Reveal every detail and enjoy your favourite streaming shows with gloriously enhanced picture and sound on TV experts’ LG’s UR73. With the brand’s a5 Gen6 AI processor driving an optimised picture of enhanced UHD visuals, HDR, FILMMAKER mode and AI sound combine to deliver a gorgeously cinematic experience. The award-winning webOS smart platform offers a huge range of easy-to-search streaming services, and it works seamlessly with Alexa devices for easy voice control.

4K UHD resolution with HDR
This screen has four times the number of pixels than Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail. High Dynamic Range expands light, dark, and every colour in between for a picture that's closer to real life. This set supports multiple HDR formats including HDR10 & HLG.

a5 Gen6 AI processor
LG's processor, the brain of the TV, ensures optimised picture and sound quality, whatever you watch or play.

A cinematic experience
Together with HDR, FILMMAKER mode turns any room into a cinema, so you experience films just as the director intended.

AI Sound
LG's AI sound enhances every bit of audio, and you get a more immersive and involving viewing experience.

Great for gaming
Tweak settings with ease to ensure the best gaming experience with the Game Optimiser, and ensure the most responsive gameplay with ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), putting you into the best game mode automatically when powering up your console.

webOS smart platform
LG’s award winning webOS platform hosts a huge variety of the top streaming services, including Freeview Play, NOW, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Twitch, and more.* Browsing and searching is super simple, Quick Cards make it easy to search based on your interests, and it works with Alexa devices (sold separately) for easy voice control.

Perfect partners
With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. Soundbars enhance your TV's sound quality and add that extra audio punch to all your movies, games and TV programmes. More affordable and easier to set up than a full size speaker system, they don't compromise on quality either.
Take a look at our full range of soundbars.

Don't forget...
If you want to connect your TV to a blu-ray player, games console, soundbar or soundbase then you'll need a HDMI cable.
cables & connections

I recommend everyone reads the accurate JL review from GT49 before "taking the plunge".
I bought the UR80 recently, and can echo the thoughts.

Sorry if I sound a bit silly. I am looking for something for my dining room where we sit slightly off-center from the TV. I have just read the review that you suggested, from experience would you think that this TV wouldn't be suitable for my needs? Thanks in advance

can anyone with this TV share thoughts on the software? (is it fast or do you need something extra like a firestick)

I find it fine. You can install Kodi as well if you're into that. Also records direct from TV to usb harddrive.

Perfect timing Mr Switch thanks for posting!

I've just ordered this for my daughter's bedroom and it'll be mounted on the wall directly opposite her bed. To get around the potential viewing angle issue I'll mount it on an extendable and swivel mount.

I also got an extra 4.5% off using the JL e-gift card vouchers via My Choices through my work.

The LG UR80 is down to £200 at Costco. Two models up in the LG range from the UR73006.
    That's the one I chose.
