Love mine! Got it on the last deal. Work's great with shop bought pizza too. Wet the edge of the dough to reduce it burning and add extra mozzarella! This was one I made using frozen pizza dough.

I bought mine after the last deal on here. It's been a huge hit in our household. We use the bread maker to do the dough. Lovely fresh pizza in about 3 mins.

Do you need a UK plug adapter?
    mubzster's avatar
no need to cut the cable, you can just fit it into a euro to uk adapter (fixed permanently) by buying one of these..

For those who are making four or six doughs from scratch every week, I bought myself one of these last year and it's been great - no more struggling with cling film to keep them soft during that final rise after shaping the pucks. It was about £22 delivered and it arrived quickly. Be aware that it is massive so you will need space for it.

I use these other dough ball containers that are smaller and they fit in the fridge and much cheaper too.

You have to order the lid and dough tray separately and works out about around £8 (lid and container).

I use them to fit 6x250g dough balls which I use for making 12 inch pizzas on my Ooni.

I really wish they would update the design of these by replacing the pointless timer with separate top/bottom temperature control. (edited)
    Grrrrrrrrrrr's avatar
You can just add a suitable "motor speed controller" - Amazon has dozens to choose from, like - Power Controller

Temperature control for the top element is a tad difficult to achieve, as it uses radiant heat energy. Different foods would absorb/reflect energy differently. So altering the power going in is more effective. Temperature control for the bottom is tricky for a different reason - thermal inertia in the pizza stone. Again, power control is a better proposition. Whilst it would be nice to have two controllers - it should be controlled well enough with just one.

I got one a few weeks ago. Have been playing around with the dough making process and think I've cracked it to our family's taste. Dough is lovely, with crispy base and lovely airy crust structure 😋. I get 6 x dough balls for 12 inch pizzas from a 1kg bag of flour. Cheap and delicious 😋 easily worth it when you see how much the big Pizza brands charge for one pizza.

This thing is awesome just order it i got it last time it was on offer. Seriously amazing 👏 also i reccomend purchasing the Pizza Bible or finding a PDF and the recipe book provided is in italian so go on GFerrari website for english PDF its quite useful as it provides the exact heating times and settings and links with machine well
    dm77's avatar
I've found the page, the instructions are in several languages but the recipe book is Italian. Where did you find it in English?

I have one I bought a while ago through here on offer and it's amazing. Highly recommend.

I use a quick Italian feather bread recipe that you can search for and it always comes out good.

I have also done gluten free pizza dough recipes.

What's people's method for these? I've often read to set it to 3 to heat up, then drop it to around 2 for the cooking, making sure the element is heating up rather than cooling down
    CharlesDickens's avatar
Whack it at 3 for ten minutes, then reduce to 2.5 for the cook.
Leave the lid open after the first cook and only close it again when you're ready with the second pizza, and when the element is getting red.
I wait until the element starts going red before going with sauce and toppings

Oh no, been suckered in and brought one 🫣. Thanks for posting anyway. Hopefully we'll be able to get on with it better than our ooni!

    Hello,
    Is this electric?

The one in this post is electric/ self-contained and 400 degrees.
You dont need any coal or wood.

Wood/ coal pizza ovan would be better, but you can't compare these, too.
    Two different things.

    Thanks

Bought one the last time it was on offer and I'm quite impressed. Excellent cripy bases and nice puffy crusts!
  16. MrAkagi's avatar
Oven gives better results even without pizza stone. While this can get hotter, 250°C is good enough, and this is quite limiting in the size of pizza and cooking can be quite uneven. More importantly, being unable to see the pizza while it's cooking is a big problem. (edited)

    define better in this case
    250°C is good enough
not for neapolitan pizza it's not
  17. greenvalet's avatar
This is a great bit of kit, no doubt. I also bought last time round and use it loads. The bottom of the base crisps up real nice but a minor issue is the top tends to steam up and not get too crispy. I remember someone wrote last time that this beats an Ooni. For me, not quite but is deffo far less hassle.
  18. CharlesDickens's avatar
I've got one. Best thing I purchased is a pizza mesh to go under. This is because I tend to cook 8 pizzas when I cook up, so the stone and top are at different temps which results in an uneven cook. This just lifts if off the stone for the final minute (when doing a 4 minute cook).

Just a heads up, mine arrived ahead of schedule today but one of the legs is broken :-(

Now got the fun of returning it back to Italy…
    Zakwilde's avatar
Mine was the same, minus the sellotape.

Sorting the return has been relatively straightforward - I used Amazon on my laptop with the translate option.

I’ve got the label and I’m planning on sending it back via Royal Mail this weekend.

Amazon have given me a 4€ contribution to the postage, so it’ll be going back via slow boat!

Sorry I'm no chef, and have one of these but yet to make my own pizza on it. So I want to make a pepperoni pizza with it, could someone please list all the ingredients, I need to get and then how long to cook it for etc in this oven. That hopefully will give me the kickstart I need to go and explore more with it!

    Thankyou. (edited)

Bought one recently, and yes they really are as good as everyone says.

I've even tried £1 frozen pizzas in them and they are totally changed by cooking them in one of these, an amazing bit of kit.
    GothBoy's avatar
What temperature setting do you use? I have a similar model from another supplier and there are two dials, a 30 minute timer ( ) and a temperature dial with just numbers. I've had a few 'charcoal sides and sloppy raw middle in 2 minutes' incidents as the instructions just tell me to 'use the appropriate setting'.
