We got provided one of these from Community Fibre - great coverage & speed, and it cleverly automatically searches for less busy frequencies - way better than our previous Deco mesh system.

I have a fairly large house and bought 4 of these. I had more than 40+ devices connected, most of them IoTs. The performance was really bad. I had to reboot them every week. Then I bought tplink with 6e support. I have dedicate the 6e channel as backbone for communication between nodes and this solved all my problems. Sold all my Velops. I don't recommend them if you have a lot of devices.

I also spent £700 on these when they first came out, and wouldn't touch them ever again, constant drop outs, terrible connection speed and random reboots.

I replaced them with the Asus XT8 which are way better.

I have been using the old ones and upgraded to the new ones ( i have 4 in my 3 story old fashioned house with thick walls) and they work fine! Anyone who say they have issues its clearly a setup issue or broadband provider issue! (edited)

I bought one of these on eBay of somebody for £30. Added to my Linksys hydra pro 6 router as a node and now getting the full 250mbps on the first floor in every room.

I'm with virgin so I have the hub 3 in modem mode connected to Linksys hydra pro 6 and have this connected wireless as a node and it's sat in the room directly above the router.

I don't think these are the same as the community fibre ones? Pretty sure all the community fibre branded units I have seen are an older dual band model?

Their "old" one AX4200 which is triple band but now they moved to Linksys AX5400 Atlas Pro 6, which yes it's dual band

Well that's mixed feedback right there! 2 good, 2 bad at the time of posting this. I want to replace my BT mesh (miniature discs...don't perform as well as I would like), and can never get consistent feedback about any ranges or designs!

Using the AX5400 provided by Community fibre (single). Had to get a couple more and it’s been really good since. Actually only using two  as this was more than enough to cover the house. Need to flog the third I bought now.

    good easy app with these.

That's how I felt with my TP-Link Deco P9 - I guess different ones are better in different conditions.

I have them and they are absolutely appalling, unfortunately I had a separate issue when I first got them which took me a few weeks to resolve so couldn’t test properly in time to send them back. A total waste of money, nodes randomly disconnect, trying to get them to connect themselves to the nearest one is a nightmare they will usually all end up connected back to the main one. I’ve tried all sorts of repositioning, connection settings but nothing made it better I’d say definitely avoid!!

Back to 5 - 5 on performance results, purely anecdotally!

One day I will get to upgrade...

I have the old AC2200 ones, and frankly it's more than enough. I can't see paying out just to get wifi6 when I have a stable, 3-node network that's fast enough for all our usage. Plus they're only £30 on Ebay, so it was a pretty cheap option when combined with the freebie from CF.
