Are these any good? Worth the extra cash? Do they have drift like most other dualsense?

I had one for a bit for warzone. Got it for £80ish from warehouse deals using a business account promo. It doesn't feel worth the RRP.

Mine didn't have drift but you can by replacement sticks for £20 each.

Also just remembered the grips on the back were forming air bubbles. Eventually they would've peeled off. Sony replaced it with a brand new controller in a week. (edited)

Becareful if you are buying this to avoid stick drift in the future then check for stick module stock as they are sold out everywhere.

I don't get people on here, apparently everyone is a cheapo that doesn't want to pay over £40 for a new game but then gives heat for a controller that costs £160. Make your mind up ffs

Bought one of these because I’m extremely heavy handed and often get stick drift.

This with its replacement thumb sticks seemed perfect.

But if you use a wired connection then I would avoid at all costs.
I have had two of these and the usb C connection becomes loose very quickly resulting in controller being disconnected.

Works fine on Bluetooth but worth knowing if you are a wired gamer

If you're sat on the fence and enjoy gaming then just do it. It's a great bit of kit and once you get used to the back buttons and other features you will struggle to play with an ordinary controller.

Its a sad state of affairs that my ps5 controller has stick drift and sony wont exchange even though it is only 18 months old with limited use….

I have had playstations since gen 1 and never had this issue but it seems this is now a very common issue and gamers just expect it…..

is this also the case for xbox as well

70 odd pounds to replace a controller is a bit of a joke and repair options are not guaranteed

If you only want back buttons you can fit them yourself to your own Dualsense, got back buttons on a few of my controllers

Great controller, got mine for COD and other FPS games. I now can't use a normal controller anymore because of the back buttons.

Always tempted, it should’ve had Hall effect modules but then Sony wouldn’t get your £20 a pop. I fitted a ExtremeRate kit on a normal DualSense, it’s been good but starting to get stick drift.

I've got the Extremerate kit also and that is very good. But the Edge is just better with more features. This is a good price. I got a cheap Edge off eBay and purchased a shell from Extremerate which is also good.

Build quality of the controller and accessories is top notch. Battery is so poor though, and mine barely gets used because of that reason. (edited)

As others have said these are great just for the back buttons - but vs £50 standard controllers even at this price they are well overpriced (but this is the cheapest i have seen then so heat OP!)
