Discount dragon has been a bit pants for me recently. One order got sent back by DPD I'm guessing even they thought it was too beat up. Then I had a cheeky wee... person....on their email customer service.

To be expected I suppose. I don't think they care much about being classy.

I've stopped using them after they brought in the expensive shipping for northern Ireland

Not the best for customer service at all. Terrible in fact. Deliver took 11 days. Website states 5 working days. The tracking system they use does NOT work either/ever. It took 5 emails over several days before anyone got back to me. And that was to tell me to check the tracking - WHICH DOES NOT WORK. You have tomwork for your discount with this company and I'm not sure it's worth it ever again.

I've always found their delivery fine, usually 5 to 7 days. I think one was 8 but no more than that. And well packaged, always the original box within an outer box. Maybe I've been lucky. Suppose there is always a first time.

Always had great service and fast email replies if any questions.

Not for me this one but good deal. I wonder if any different Overworks bottles are to come? Gimme some sours!

    That would be great!
I've wanted to try the Overworks sours, but I'm not prepared to pay the full price when I can buy a Belgian Gueuze for the same money.

I guess you could just throw it in with an order of the Vienna for a bit of variety?
    cbates60's avatar
Reading reviews this is pretty similar to the Vienna. Just a bit more funky

this company has gone downhill fast. i paid for faster shipping on my last order and it took over a week to get to me just outside london. their response.....once it leaves we have no control. products are £shop at best. i wont be giving them any ££

Last time I ordered DPD said on the first delivery they couldn't find my house so I requested delivery to local collect. This was attempted twice and both times they stated they didn't know where their local drop off point was. It was only after a complaint to both DPD and DD that the order was finally dropped off. Probably not DD fault but it added 4/5 days extra time on the delivery and some unwanted stress.

Ordered glass beers last time arrived broken. Guy from customers service want me to pick what's left and count broken one. Brilliant advice and high health and safety

I mean, if you had broken glass in your house, you should probably have thrown away the house, just to be safe.

Just got my order delivered today by DPD I was surprised it all came in one piece. Good packing I need to say. Order lots of random things and 30 beers including that wood age lager. I'm having it now but it tastes awful it blows out from the bottle when open and smells and tastes like fermented juice. Is any one have the same? (edited)
