Most airlines have a maximum of 55cm for carry on; this is 56.5 so it will be too big if airlines insist on checking it.  Shame

I bought these last time they came up here (think they were a couple of quid cheaper). On the whole I am pretty impressed with them, especially for the money. Fine as cabin luggage for some airlines, and good for the kids when we go away for the weekend up stuff. Quality seems good and delivery was quick. Can't complain at all

Me to i just ordered one about 20mins ago and easyJet is (max. 45 x 36 x 20 cm)
How can they say they are LIGHTWEIGHT CABIN CASE when 2 of us so far are saying they are to big and the 2 planes are popular people us all the time.

For the 1st time in about the last 4 years, finally got asked to do a Ryanscare bag check at easter - carry on was shorter but fatter than allowed spec = 70 euros hit.

Just to say that they allow 55x40x20cm and it's surprising how a lot of bags available are only 33/35cm wide

As well do you need hard case ? Soft case are lighter .. delicates that need protection.. bury inside clothing layers, put inside a food container etc. I use that policy on very soft rucksack l use for travel. 80/120l ..weight 1.75kg. I can get check in to under 20kg (using 5kg cabin too).

    20" is NOT 56.5cm, it's 51cm.

Some airlines restrict to 22", which is 55.8 cm .. so yeah .. I'm not even sure it would fit into 22" luggage checker thing at the gate. Always double check sizes before you buy
