Do they service indicators? They're broken on most BMW cars.

Just spoken to my dealer and they are going to add the 20% discount on tomorrow when I pick it up, so thanks OP, saved me £36 there!!

Or you could go to a BMW specialist. I took my Mercedes to a specialist and cost me half the amount. Service showed up in Mercedes Computer

Dealer takes it in for a day, then its back to limp mode, same happens when they take it back into garage. As she's 7 months pregnant, it's really not safe to be driving.

Oh yeah those "A" series BMWs are loads of trouble. You should have gone for a "1" Class Merc instead.

Are parts including? Or Just labour?

Yes oil, filter etc is included within the price.

I still have our 11 year old 320d serviced with BMW, as you get a much better experience for only slightly more than using an independent garage in my experience.

And even more so in this case with this discount.

I think you're confusing them with Audi (easy to do really), you know, the ones which smell of weed as they pass you at twice the limit.

I've been with the same BMW dealer since 2002, over 4 different cars and had nothing but amazing service from them from the start. I can't say that about many other companies or places. Lego maybe, but that's it!! (edited)

Mine is a 68 plate so I think this is its first major service. This has made my day though because I really didn't want to go somewhere else but also didn't want to spend a PS5 on an air filter

I had the digital cockpit (BMW call it a kombi) fail on my 3 year old 23k mile 530i, really concerned me about all of these digital dashes that everyone is going for. Wanted £2.5k to replace it. Thankfully got it on goodwill and only paid £250 for labour, but crazy for something that is a must and clearly a manufacturing fault

Unfortunately that's the going rate for BMW servicing ad a main dealer as I paid similar a couple of months ago (also 68 plate 320d). It's money grabbing because they know people don't want to risk losing the warranty (or at least getting into a protracted argument should any warranty work be required). They also offered some sort of additional health check for £85 (!) on top of the service which I turned down. This means that the paintwork warranty is now voided because they haven't inspected it in the prescribed timescales. As soon as it's out of warranty I'll be going to an independent and won't be rushing back to buying a new or nearly-new BMW.

And to add insult to injury, the 'complimentary' coffee machine was turned off due to covid!

Grow up sonny....I am 62 years of age, trying to enjoy retirement and the fruits of my labour after a long and fairly successful working life. If my owning a Porsche offends you in some way to inspire your childish and immature comment then that’s very clearly your problem not mine. (edited)

The whole network is hit and miss too, Stratstone in Chesterfield are great, the Newcastle/Silverlink one less so. Cooper in Sunderland managed to temporarily lose compression on my R60 when they did a walnut shell blast on the intake valves, so for the past few years I'd been using Lloyd up on Barrack Road instead.

We have an F54 mini and I paid £600 for a four year service plan which is minor, major and brake fluid change. Worked out about £900 separately so was a decent saving.

£600 is not miles away from what an Indy specialist would charge for these total

Decent deal this is the price that the bmw servicing should be they would keep there customers then rather than driving them to independents . My 7 series is around £170 for a set of rear pads and wear sensor which is quite reasonable but just measured them and they have 6mm left it’s showing 29500 miles so should hopefully last another 10000 miles . I bought the extended service pack from 4 years to 7 years for around £660 bmw Black Friday deal so keep your eye out for that . Might get apple car play then as at the moment it’s £250 they were doing for around £150 some years back .
