Oh yeah those "A" series BMWs are loads of trouble. You should have gone for a "1" Class Merc instead.
This is like West Brom laughing at Sheffield United fans!
Can a shitroen do really anything
Yes oil, filter etc is included within the price.
I still have our 11 year old 320d serviced with BMW, as you get a much better experience for only slightly more than using an independent garage in my experience.
And even more so in this case with this discount.
Both. I work in a BMW retailer. (edited)
I think you're confusing them with Audi (easy to do really), you know, the ones which smell of weed as they pass you at twice the limit.
Mine is a 68 plate so I think this is its first major service. This has made my day though because I really didn't want to go somewhere else but also didn't want to spend a PS5 on an air filter
Unfortunately that's the going rate for BMW servicing ad a main dealer as I paid similar a couple of months ago (also 68 plate 320d). It's money grabbing because they know people don't want to risk losing the warranty (or at least getting into a protracted argument should any warranty work be required). They also offered some sort of additional health check for £85 (!) on top of the service which I turned down. This means that the paintwork warranty is now voided because they haven't inspected it in the prescribed timescales. As soon as it's out of warranty I'll be going to an independent and won't be rushing back to buying a new or nearly-new BMW.
And to add insult to injury, the 'complimentary' coffee machine was turned off due to covid!
I once poured myself a cup of tea but it turned out to be coffee.
I know right, amazing that someone can buy a BMW and instantly become a bad driver Sadly some people actually believe that this is the case... A few comments about indicators here, so original (edited)
Grow up sonny....I am 62 years of age, trying to enjoy retirement and the fruits of my labour after a long and fairly successful working life. If my owning a Porsche offends you in some way to inspire your childish and immature comment then that’s very clearly your problem not mine. (edited)
Next time don't take a BMW to a Citroen dealer
I wonder if they will give me the 20% off, or if I need to rebook it?
You think that somehow BMW dealer will be better because it's a premium brand.. lol they are all the same.
Can a Citroen dealer add the service onto the idrive log book?
‘Lease German, buy Japanese’.
We have an F54 mini and I paid £600 for a four year service plan which is minor, major and brake fluid change. Worked out about £900 separately so was a decent saving.
£600 is not miles away from what an Indy specialist would charge for these total
Ask them to re-quote and mention the BMW "Value Service" or whatever it is.
Technically my 320d needed the full works this time, but it's only done about 20k miles since the last big service plus it's 11 years old, worth about £2,500 and we're getting rid of it soon so I just went for the billy basic Engine oil/Oil filter and microfilmer service which is £165 with this deal.
Depends how old yours is though, but you don't have to get all the service items they tell you to get.
Yes for £1,000 each
Top tip: ask them to take the 20% OFF!
£550 for a major service???
That seems pricey YeDaSellsAvon
Even with 20% £110 off
Not sure who has quoted you that much, my dad used to own a sports car and he got quoted similar from the Porsche dealer, I mean no offence is a 320d similar in spec?
Good luck YeDaSellsAvon
Have you got any trusted independents in your immediate area that will use genuine manufactured parts.
Good luck,
*Edited* spelt your name wrong sorry bud
Long story short my Dad had a fancy car, the local garage gave him a quite frankly ridiculous quote and he went to a quality independent who carried out the service to a similar standard for about 40% less
Still an approved service, my Pops went into their garage and he said it was as clean as the Mercedes factory where they make parts for the F1 cars so it seems okay. (edited)
The reason I bought my first BMW is because of the complimentary latte and muffin I got offered when I went to look at them, clearly I'm an easy target
The more you drink the cheaper the service is...
