If you ignore the Samsung cashback sale, then this would be a great drive to get.

It won't win any speed awards but what makes it stand apart from other budget dives is it has a DRAM cache, which coupled with a large SLC means it can maintain decent performance.

Is this will be good to replace Xbox x one ?
    A57ton's avatar
    No, that needs a 2230.

But to be honest, if you didn’t know that, the upgrade procedure isn’t for you. (edited)

Me too, got it on a previous deal for £115 and have been pleased with it.

Great price, I’m waiting on more attractive pricing for 4/8TB, this is too small for me

Same here I'd love 4x4tb but that's like the price of a 4090 at the moment! Just gonna keep getting cheaper. Roll on pcie 5 please! That'll help

I have the 1TB version for some game storage and it’s decent.

    This or wd sn570?
    SurfX's avatar
I think the SN570 as it is TLC rathe rather than the QL of the 670pC, so the fact the SH570 is DRAMless is kind of offset.

I don’t have any luck with SSD drives as managed to burn 3 of SSDs in last 5 years. How stable and good quality the NVMEs?

Intels one of the worlds largest computing brands.

Ssds don't like heat. Sort your case out, make sure it's got decent airflow, get a heatsink.
