I’ve got Sonix Hedgehogs asymmetric fitted to my car and I can go so much faster now.

What are they like around bends.

    Never heard of them

That’s the beauty of it. See you in the ditch.

Look to be same brand as roadmarch which based on user reviews seem ok for a budget brand. Wouldn't touch them myself but pays your money....

Including fitting these will cost you around £200 for a cheap unknown and potentially unsafe tyre.
I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking for tyres to avoid and buy a decent mid range tyre at the very least. Kumho are £48 delivered and £65 fitted per tyre and often you can get discounts, yes they cost more but at least you know that it is a reputable brand that has gone through proper research and development and will perform miles better than this. Where do you get Kumho tyres for that price?

Prefer the new LongLing Ditchfinder Evo Assymetric myself

Quality tyres, veryt popular in Russia and Kazakhstan, I'm sure they won't have a breaking distance from here to the moon.

Imagine being so cheap that you'd happily sacrifice your family for a £200 saving once every few years.

Braking distance but excessive braking distance can break your car

Worth getting some Teflon coated brake pads too as they last for ages due to less friction.

    I agree

These are great if you have a gorilla enclosure.

Before Covid tax came in, I had ATS house brand Genesys tyres, supplied and fitted for £34 each. The tyres have been really good and no complaints at all. I think they are around £50 per corner these days.

Careful now. You'll get the tin foil hat brigade claiming their tyres are spying on them due to their country of origin

There's quite a difference between a cheap tyre and a quality brand tyre.

The best all-round tyre in my opinion (and many reviews) is the Goodyear efficientgrip performance 2. Great in wet/dry and also lasts longer too.

I've done 45k on mine so far. Think it has 8.9mm tread depth so more than the competition.

Had to emergency break twice since i've had them and one was a very close call.

Have the same, all are on 27k and still have 4-5mm tread left. Also cheaper than Michelins.

not for me - good tyres could save your life so its not something I would cheap out on unless I had no other choice due to lack of money

when I was fresh out of uni, a bit broke & knew almost nothing about cars I once bought some remolds & regretted it as soon as I tried a long distance trip on the motorway - tread completely came off the tyre but luckily didnt cause me to crash (edited)

Good price but don't forget to factor in fitting......by chance I needed to get a budget 205/55/16 due to puncture and tread so low it was not worth getting fixed today, and was speaking to fitter about buying on-line as I'd seen two new for around £60, he said they charge around £12 to £15 for fitting as they usually still need to take wheels off, change tyre, replace valve (if not the TPS type) then balance and refit.... I paid just over £36 for a new tyre, valve and balance...might have paid less than normal as I'd taken the wheel off the car to take there due to puncture so there was no removal or refitting

You should always change both tyres on the same axle as this can lead to handling issues and can reduce the lifespan of the tyres.

In this instance 'braking' distance should indeed mean 'breaking' distance.

1 bald tyre = 100 quid fine and 3 points...

Hi. Looks like good value. Someone told me to check expiry number as the rubber could be dated hence clearance stock.

Tyre snobs galore in here lol
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
Over a ton of metal at 70mph on risky rubber. Snobs?
