Why bother when Google/ Apple Maps is free??!

Alot of these paid apps allow you to download the map so you can use them offline. I have the TomTom one for emergencies but use Google maps from day to day

10 years ago? Great idea. Now? Not so much!

I have used this in the past and found it very good and accurate.

However, Google Maps and the Apple variant have greatly 'upped' their game and are now more competitive than their paid variants.

I have constantly used Google Maps on long motorway journeys which no problems.

It looks to have some great features. Can't find a way to get a free trial of premium though.

Should give you the option of the free trial if it's the first time you've tried it.

I bought a lifetime licence from them a few years ago and six months later they switched to a subscription model and disabled my premium features. It wasn't that great in reality anyway.

I find the app extremely helpful, particularly with the innovative 3D sign assist feature and the new EV function that calculates battery percentage and suggests charging points along your route.

I particularly like the audible bend ahead/sharp bend and speed camera audible spoken warnings.
I've been using Sygic for years now and did buy a "lifetime" license which was fine until they disabled a few of the more useful functions so I just took out the subscription.
For the amount I use it now though, since I retired, I won't be renewing and will switch to Waze or Google Maps.

I can't get this to work. Do you need to already have Sygic installed?
