I presume this is back rib. A very tasty cut, but not to be confused with the much more expensive fore rib. Normal price at our local butchers.

Fairly often I got some Oct last year some in Jan and some now have to say it's been very good.

Good price, but shipping is too high for small orders. It's £4.95 if you spend over £30, otherwise it's £8.95, so offsets most of the saving if you're buying a smaller joint. (edited)

Village butchers is definitely hit and miss. Their cote de boeuf was great, the tomahawk was the worst cuts I've ever purchased. Worth a shot at this price if you can get a decent piece

For you fellow meat-eaters, could anyone recommend where to get very fatty meat? Dealing with a health condition and the weight is falling off (normally a good thing!) and the doc recommends eating the fattiest meat possible.

Lamb is probably the fattiest 'normal' meat and is in season. Cook other meat in beef dripping for additional fat and flavour. Skin-on chicken.

Drink double cream.
