- Blends into your space with ambient mode

- No more clutter with one remote & cable management

- Endless entertainment at your fingertips with Smart Hub

It starts with Q

Grab the popcorn, dim the lights, and bring the cinema experience home with the Samsung QE65Q6FNATXXU 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV. With Q Colour over a billion colours and shades are brought to life so nothing is missed – movies look as good as the director intended.

Of course, a TV isn't just for movie nights. Q Contrast means bold contrast and minimal reflections, so you'll be able to watch the afternoon football match without having to rearrange the furniture.

The future of entertainment

Your favourite entertainment just got a makeover. Samsung's HDR 1000 makes every scene of HDR 10+ movies and shows look stunning with improved colours and contrast. Thrillers are dark and shadowy for extra suspense, while action scenes are bright and fiery.

Blends into your space

Your home should be a place of tranquillity. Ambient mode removes the black screen, so the Q6 seamlessly blends into your room when it's not in use.

Choose from decorative content, useful information, personal photos from your gallery, or camouflage it into the décor. It can even play some light background music.

No more clutter

Speaking of tranquillity, the Q6F is designed to reduce clutter. The One Remote Control can be used to control multiple devices, such as your set-top box, Blu-ray player, and sound bar, while cable management for keeps connections out of sight.

Endless entertainment

Never be stuck for entertainment – Samsung's Smart Hub has something for everyone. Whether it's the latest must-see boxset on Netflix, or catching up on Sunday's TV drama, you're never more than three clicks away from your favourite content.

And when you connect your smartphone to your TV, you'll be able to pick up where you left off. For example, you can start watching a fascinating documentary on your train home, and continue watching the rest on your TV later that evening

Not really it's the 6 series Qled.
A bit misleading to not put that in the title.

EDGE LIT LED - *NOT FALD*

Don't buy it's not deserving of Qled name. (edited)

Way too near OLED money for just an LCD. Cold for me.

Q8 was £1199 in Samsung Experience Stores after Christmas (40% off and 5 year warranty).
This is the benchmark price. To pay more than this for a Q8 would leave a bad taste in my mouth now.

Of course, Johnathon Lewis refused to price match and were knowingly undersold. (edited)

MicroLED wont be available or affordable for a while yet. Plan on north of £20K for the first ones.

Isn't OLED cheaper than QLED Q9? Why bother?OLED is the better technology.

No OLED isnt better than the Q9FN. Read the AV Forums review of the Q9. Best 4K HDR screen they have ever seen. And I can confirm that as the owner of a 75" Q9 and a 65" OLED. The Q9 hits close to 3500 Nits. The best OLED has problems hitting 1000 as the most striking difference. Q9 also has a wider colour gamut and better detail in very dark picture areas. Not to mention auto low latency gaming mode, Freesync 2 and HDR10+ support if you are a gamer. (edited)

It's not for sale, and we dont have a date, and the blocks are what they assemble in the factory- you can't build it at home. And the first set will be 98" so think over £20k as I said, not a "few grand". (edited)

I'd want FALD screens on anything over probably a 49"

Q8 is not FALD. Need Q9 for that.

    The Q8FN or Q8CN aren't you're right. The Q8D is.

Interesting so FALD with just under 1/2 the peak brightness of the Q9FN and no One Connect box, but probably makes an attractive proposition at that price.

Only 40 local dimming zones though compared to ~ 500 on the Q9FN so it's not probably going to beat an OLED for picture like the Q9FN does. (edited)

    That's unfounded conjecture.
The point is this 6 series TV is rubbish budget TV masquerading as a Qled.

if choosing QLED over OLED, just go for Q9. This modal is just edge lit LCD, nothing special.

Yes, that's the reason many people don't bother but if its same price I could go for Q9 (because of very bright living room I have) .

Yeah, its not quite on the level of the 9, but i wasnt imagining i'd be getting into the OLED/QLED realm but for £799 i couldnt turn it down. Most tech review sites will cite this as one of the best at £1500 and i can see why. Either way im more than happy with it and as for the One Connect, all my stuff goes into an AV receiver so its not much of a loss for me to be honest.

2019 QLEDs have apparently addressed the only outstanding benefit of OLED over the Q9FN which was viewing angle.

So until MicroLED comes along QLED is going to still be the best screen money can buy.
