Note that it's 60Hz & HDMI 2.0 only, so not ideal for certain types of gaming in 4K. (edited)

Hughes website says different, it says 2 2.1 and 2 2.0? So are you sure it can't do 4k 120?

Better going for a TCL C845k everyone

Ah, ok, it’s listed on LG’s European website at 1,499 Euros.

Yep, 60Hz. Bad TV for gaming.

I might be mistaken here - but that seems like ALOT of TV for the money. Is that defo correct? 8K, 65"? Or maybe I'm not moving with the times - 65 is probably small now for regular homes.
    Privé's avatar
Maybe because there isn't any 8K content so essentially you'll be watching upscaled 4K

    That's a steal £1099 for 65" 8k MiniLed
  6. C0mbat's avatar
There's no market for 8k though right? It's not like 4k where content appeared aver the course of a few years. There's basically nothing for 8k. Plus even if it did exist would it really be much better?

Judging from the comments, this would be ideal for movies/general watching, which is what I’m after. Not looking for a gaming TV

Review here of the 75" model...

8k @ 60hz hmmmm I wonder how that would stack up on a 4090 gaming PC

The website on Hughes says it has 2 HDMI 2.1 Ports
    2
And 2 hdmi 2.0 ports, so are we sure it only does 60hz? Want to buy but want to play at 4k 120hz

This is strange as Huges has this listed as the 966QA model which it says has 8K 60hz

On the LG official site the closest tv they have is listed as the 866QA which it says is 4K 100hz.

I’m confused, I know sometimes they make special models for different stores but can someone shed some light?

    Hey,
This TV is a 65" 8K QNED MiniLED Smart TV.
The refresh rate of the panel is 60hz.
    It's a 2022 model, so runs WebOS 22.
The processor is A9 Gen5 AI Processor 8K.

And it has features like AI Sound Pro & Picture Pro. I hope this answers your question.

If you have anymore feel free to ask

Be better getting the qned 91 or 99 instead of this. Or another make and model altogether.
