Ideal as a storage/game drive, but wouldn't install the OS on it or use it for frequent heavy write tasks.
Well, you could install the OS on it but if doing so should move any cache/temp folders to a different drive to help keep the wear down.
The SLC cache on this will be huge to start with, what with it being an 8TB drive and SLC usually being a set % of the free space, so slowdowns with large file transfers shouldn't be too bad until it really starts to fill up.
Many people here know my dislike of QLC drives, so for me to say it's a decent deal does say something about this particular one. (edited)
amazon uk has it for around £313, so the spain deal if it gets converted right is a decent deal even with the delivery.
Might be worth trying to pay from revoult card also, think you spare some conversion fees that way too but not tried it.
