    Yes, it will work on the PS5. It might be slower at sequential reads but it should do the job. (edited)

    It'll work in a PS5 and it'll play any PC game whereby you wouldn't notice the difference. If you really need the max performance at 2TB then you need to spend £20 more than this and no more.
