    I had these and they tasted foul and are the only protein bar to give me stomach cramps. Grenade Salted Caramel are so much nicer.

    Never had a bar that results in 💨 so bad, Myprotein layered bar comes close

    As others stated they taste horrid and give you mad flatulence. Be prepared to be letting some out in meetings, people will be wishing they were WFH!

    Can anyone recommend a recipe for making your own flapjack protein bar recipe. Normally you freeze them and after a few hours they're done

    This one is designed to fit in with my calorie intake (417 calories) during a particular training phase. It's a bit cake/loaf like but I like it. It's substantial which I also like. The protein in this example is casein which I'm using up, you can use any protein to give you the 'protein hit'/calories you want. This makes one bar:

    35g organic oats (steelcut, not jumbo though)
    0.25 banana
    26g protein powder
    10g raisins
    1 egg
    1g nutmeg
    5g organic crunchy peanut butter
    4g cinnamon powder
    0.5g clove powder
    5g Green and Blacks organic cocoa powder

    417 calories. 45.5g carbs, 32.2g protein, 11.5g fat.
