Is there any reason if this wasn’t powerful enough in the future you couldn’t run say a Mac mini through the screen…

No you cannot because Apple, another thing they took away with the M1 chip.

This is an amazing deal, not only for the upgraded SSD but it is the 8 GPU core, dual fan, touch ID version with the extra ports.

    Banger of a deal!

80% of people will be absolutely fine with it (Actually the number is 90% - But the 10% of people who will be fine with this computer will moan about 8gb RAM in 2024 and never buy it).

Thanks OP, I was disappointed I missed the 256GB deal at £800 and have been checking daily to see if any got cancelled - this is too good to miss, £50 cheaper and 512GB! Thanks again!

    Thank you Mr Switch.

I was waiting for a deal on the Silver 512gb, have just ordered.

My current 2013 iMac only has 8gb Ram and somehow it's managed to do everything I need it to do....

Nice I got the blue version with 256gb for 699, but would probably appreciate the bigger memory. To buy or not to buy…

Is it the same M1 chip that will be very soon a much slower M1 chip after 🍎 release security update? ;D

Purchased. used perks at work to save another 6.5%. so ended up costing me £714. Was a bit squeaky bum time having it in my basket while i had to purchase the voucher in case it went out of stock and then i was left with a voucher i did not want....

Form me, i'm replacing a 13 year old 17 Mackbook pro. I accept Apple products tend to be more expensive but having had Macbooks and PC laptops over many years, the Apple products have tended to be far more resilient and reliable with a higher build quality.. Thanks OP

    Glad you got it.
please may I ask how you were able to save a further 6.5% using perks at work? I can see that there is a Wow points promo on their which is the equivalent of 1% Cashback, but don’t see how to get 6.5%. Would be really grateful for your wisdom please!
