remember that apple nerfed the entire M2 line with 256GB in a single chip rather than 2 so you have to go for the 512GB to get the performance otherwise you're stuck with half of the speed

In tests the M2 with 256GB performed worse than the M1 with 256GB because the latter has it spread across two chips (edited)

RAM speed? you mean SSD speed right? if so SSD speed doesnt matter in 99% of the user case unless some you want to move large file regularly in a 256gb ssd for some reasons

I like the larger profile but I refuse to buy any laptop that doesn’t have at least 16GB at least because it can’t be upgraded. I upgraded my Dell XPS to 64Gb ram and 2TB SSD for less than £150. I really would love to use an Apple but until I see the 16GB and 512GB Configuration amongst the newer macs, I refuse to part with my money.

Incoming MAC Daddies claiming 4GB is more than enough as Apple are magic

    - Posted from a M1 Macbook Pro with 32GB of RAM, Currently at 85% ram utilisation

Year is 2053 apple is selling MacBooks with m125 chips made from space grade titanium with Super Retina xtra+++ crystal display aaaanddd 8gb ram…..

car and luxury watches manufactures have caught up now with apple’s best money making trick so you can buy a Lamborghini with 90bhp an 0.9 l engine , a Bmw m3 comes as standard with 75bhp and 1l engine, Rolex now sell their watches with just 4h power reserve….rolls Royce comes also with a 1l engine and 80bhp as standard… (edited)

Notch and no touchscreen makes this a no go for me. They're being discounted as there was a huge rush to buy laptops with covid and there's been a massive slowdown on sales.

I don’t think Apple cares about sales, they know they can sell almost anything at any price and people will buy it. 8GB RAM is faintly ridiculous though.

It looks so nice. Missa wants one. I should have bought it when I was in America. These are so much cheaper over there bro.

Because you don’t pay VAT or sales tax if you smuggle it back in.
