Cheapest I can find online. M3 and M3 Pro models are the same price, not sure if it's a mistake or not, but I ordered and the correct model (M3 Pro) arrived this morning.

Even better, if you need it, this is a 0% interest loan. You can pay outright if you want to.

Instructions:
Select the M3 Pro 14" model if not already open.
Select the Black model (Silver OOS).
Choose 36 month swap term (keep in mind it's a 48 month contract - you do not need to swap/hand in the device after 36 months).
When you are asked to pick a SIM plan, pick the 100MB FREE option at the bottom.
Pay £12 up front payment.

Either pay £37 a month for 48 months, or click to pay all up front at checkout.

Apple provides a 6 year warranty in England and 5 year in Scotland. We don't need Apple Care in UK unless maybe if you need the tech support.

Just got a text from Sky: "Hello. Sorry there has been a delay to your order. We're working with Apple to deliver your MacBook Pro M3 14-Inch as soon as possible and will update you by 17 April 2024."

I've just ordered the 1TB version, having just sold my Legion 5 (wasn't gaming whatsoever, and wanted more portability and battery life) but now second-guessing myself as to whether this is absolute overkill for mostly just web browsing and some light photo editing.

I'd probably get by just fine with a refurbished M2 Air for £849 from the Apple Store, but convinced myself that the mini-LED screen, more than 2x the RAM and better battery life would be worth paying twice the price.

And FYI, I'm writing this on a mid-2011 11" MacBook Air.

Please chime in and give me some opinions!

I just upgraded from a 2011 MBP to an M2 pro MBP 14" 1TB from the Currys clearance deal the other week. Similar to you it's more for web browsing and light photo/video editing. Given your old MBA lasted so long I think it's a good shout to go for something like this so you won't be limited in the future with ram/ssd if you plan to hold for so long. On the M2 pro the 1TB is faster than the 512gb SSD, not sure if it's the same on M3 models but it will certainly keep you going.

Battery is phenomenal for me and the screen is a beauty. Sound is amazing too coming from my old MBP. I don't think you'll regret it!

I’m genuinely in awe at this thing, even upgrading from an M1 Air.

They are great. I swapped my iMac Pro 2017 for a fully specced 16 M3 Max and it flies with Lightroom, Photoshop etc. got a 14 on this deal to replace my M1 Air!

They are working on it, when I changed mines from 512gb to 1TB they said they had a lot of sudden demand for the M3 Pros and were working with Apple on getting them.

Im in the same boat. It would be nice to be updated on the status of our back orders. When I ordered it stated shipping within 1 - 2 weeks. In theory it should be shipped out by this weekend.

The device plans are not subject to bill increases as far as I’m aware.

I am 99% sure I paid the same amount for my iPad from Sky for the duration of the contract which ended last month.

My online account says delivery for tomorrow also went for the space black 512gb but just out of interest if you are logged into you’re account the 1tb space black seems to be in stock 1-2 weeks delivery but still out of stock if you are not logged in,strange,might help someone. (edited)

The more I wait the more I wish I’d ordered the 1tb rather than 512gb (now I’ve seen the specs sent to others), has anyone managed to switch order to another model?

I wouldn't risk trying to switch to the 1tb. When I spoke to them on Monday to ask about the stock situation I was immediately told the 1tb was available and they could change my order to that. I'm not sure if it was intentional or they're just clueless to the difference but they were trying to change my order to the standard M3, not the M3 pro. Luckily I asked them to confirm the exact spec before agreeing and I noticed.

Ordered 1TB last night. On Sky it says “Your device is currently out of stock but we know we’re getting more in”, the email says “it will be delivered in 1-2 weeks”. Fingers crossed it won’t be longer than that.

Weirdly, if you search on the website, there are 2 identical MacBooks, and the first one, which is space grey only, shows in stock, both the 512GB and 1TB option. It even says “next day delivery”. The other one is still out of stock. Both the same price obviously

You might find that they're not the same. The one in stock is the standard macbook pro m3 chip, not the m3 pro chip.

Cannot believe I'm the owner of a brand new MacBook Pro for which I've lusted ever since I first jumped ship from Windows to MacOS in 2012. I still have my original 27" iMac too.
I have only ever had MacBook Airs and would never have been able to afford this if I had not seen this deal.
Should be able to get £300 to £375 on my existing Air which makes this a fantastic upgrade deal.
