I've been an Arlo user for a good few years. Good system when it works - firmware updates regularly break things (check the Arlo forum), and their app is miles behind in terms of features. For example, you can't pause motion detection for a specified amount of time - you have to deactivate either a camera or the whole system, with many users often forgetting to re-activate.
Their end of life policy recently caused a big stir, with many returning their products in protest or switching over to a different make. They backed down in the end.
For what you pay for the system and using it, I'd expect top quality, which it isn't. (edited)
