it will be useless when Open Reach turn off the copper wire system in the near future!

Not totally useless - just more restricted.

Depending on your ISP and/or router, you can plug them in to the router. So you lose the benefit of having a phone line in the case of a power cut, but you still have a landline at home. We have one still, as Sky include it in the full fibre package we have, and few people still phone it as it's listed as a contact number.

It’s like something from the Argos book 35 years ago…
This should be hot as it’s inflation busting, yet I feel the demand is significally reduced

Do I need to hold this in front of me with the speaker on or horizontal to the side of my ear like everyone seems to have to take/make a call these days?

What's that curly worm crawling beneath it?

I’m not sure the research i’ve been able to do says it was used to attach to the body of the square thing with buttons. Apparently it stopped you from walking about with the device and you had to stay in one spot all the time.

I’ve recently bought the Max Pro version in yellow. Calls are great but the camera is always out of focus? Any reason

It’s probably out of focus as the supplied lead is too curly and it slows the light down significantly and the handset has difficulty lining up all the photon beams in the correct order. My advice would be to replace the curly lead with a straight one and report back here with your findings

No 5g. Poor battery. Poor camera. No software support after BinatoneOS v1.1.
