These are the older model MQD83ZM/A with lightning cable charging, the newer ones MTJV3ZM/A have USBC.  Not a big deal as long as you understand what your buying.

Also available refurbed for £135.95 with coupon ebay.co.uk/itm…OPY

Bought from these in the past and they had sneakily put a different pair of AirPods (Gen 1) in a Gen 2 case. Refunded after showing evidence when checking them on Apple’s warranty checker. Personally would avoid.

Thanks. Avoiding like the plague 🏽

Its not a bad price but as these with USB-C case are available direct from Apple (with guarenteed full warranty) for £229, imo safer to buy direct despite the £61 saving

I did buy a couple of Airpod Pro 2's coming up to Xmas from an ebay seller (not this one that seems more legit) for <£100 each, they looked 100% genuine (case especially) and had serial numbers showing in iOS but I found the controls not very responsive (couldn't get the touch/slide volume to work at all) and so eventually checked the serials on Apples site and turns out the serials were for a slightly different model of Airpod v1 and they the Pro 2 and serials were both fake. Luckily ebay refunded me despite me taking a few months to figure out they weren't just a rubbish follow up compared to my existing Airpod Pro's but not genuine.

I like saving but in this case, I'd prefer to pay more for 100% peace of mind with the warranty

Why not buy in Costco with a £15 saving AND 2yr warranty? You can buy online with free delivery as in store is the same price!

NOT forgetting that if you are an Executive member you get your additional 2% cash back so a £19 saving. (edited)

Any deals about on the genuine USB C variant? Lots of fakes about...

Costco is about the cheapest with 2yr guarantee without buying from an import company with names like the days of the week.

Just to confirm the USBC version is model: MTJV3ZM/A

I received these today, they look genuine but the apple warranty expires in December so I guess someone else has registered these ‘new’ AirPods before. I’ll be returning them.

You need to phone Apple to update the purchase date. I received mine today, phoned Apple to check serial number. They confirmed no Apple account has registered this serial (so at least good sign) and updated my warranty based on the invoice. (edited)

How can you tell if they are legit?
    Be79n's avatar
The seller is very good as eBay goes. If they are fake the first give away is your phone/ipad will tell you and second is noise cancellation won’t work.

Good deal from a fantastic company. Most of the recon gear I buy from them is actually brand new. (edited)

They've been exposed multiple times for swapping models. This company should never be trusted and it's embarrassing it's being allowed on here.

I'll go for Nothing ear, like the design and affordable price.

Whats the sound like on them? I tried getting them on deal from HOTUKD before but they'd sold out.... ended up with the Soundcore P3i and they are pretty decent tbf...

Are a new version of AirPods coming out this year?

Good call although I'm not a Cosco member so adding that would push price back up but I'm sure thats a better deal for anyone already a member
