    "Minced White Fish (48%)"

So, these cost over £6 per kg of cheap unknown scraps of fish minced-up (likely bland + tasteless pollock and not even fillets at that)

For those who want to know what the fish is, and don't mind pollock in a breaded fish finger, Aldi do 58% pollock-fillet fish fingers for £0.80 per 250g (= £5.52/kg for the actual fish, but it's pollock fillet not unknown minced):
    groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-…161

P.s. Aldi also do 52% cod fillets in batter for £3.49 for 500g:
    groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-…198

    Or
65% chunky cod fillets in batter for £3.99 for 500g:
    groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-…924

I like to know what it is I'm eating, and fillet of fish is always much better than minced floor-sweepings of unknown fish. (edited)

Iceland own brand fish fingers are cheaper than this with a more percentage of fish

    Yes. Probably.

But that’s why they are £3 which is a good price for battered fish fingers

Tell us how much the battered cod/haddock fillet fish finger equivalents are, just out of interest? (edited)

Less is better in this instance.

You've no idea where the captain has had his fingers. (edited)

Im normally one for a bargain but these are minging compared to the cod or haddock ones. Yes i get they are more expensive but they are so much better. Id buy aldi or lidl cod ones rather than these any day.

What the hell these used to be filleted fish not some minced muck (edited)
